"There is considerable confusion regarding Holi celebrations during the first week of March," stated Abhishek Jain Bittu, spokesperson for the Sangh. Bittu further highlighted that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had proactively rescheduled its March 3 board exams in recognition of the festival, setting a precedent that the RBSE should follow. "It is challenging for students to attend school on Holi, and similar adjustments should be made by the Rajasthan Board," he added, expressing concerns about student safety during travel to examination centers on a day marked by widespread public festivities.

A senior teacher leader, who requested anonymity, explained: "In most parts of the state, Holi is being celebrated on March 4, the exact day scheduled for board exams in subjects like history, business studies, agricultural chemistry, and chemistry. This poses not only safety risks for students but also logistical challenges, as transportation services are typically reduced during the festival."
The teacher emphasized that major community Holi gatherings are planned for March 4, which could further complicate students' ability to reach examination centers safely and on time. "Unless the state government revises its holiday notification, the education department is unlikely to alter the exam schedule," the teacher noted, underscoring the need for governmental intervention to resolve the conflict.
