In a shocking incident at a UP Board examination center in Etawah, a candidate's brother was apprehended while attempting to write the High School science exam on his behalf. The event unfolded on Wednesday at the Zila Panchayat Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya Sarsainavaar exam centre, highlighting ongoing issues of malpractice during board exams.

The impersonation was uncovered during an inspection by the internal flying squad, which was monitoring the first-shift science exam. Acting on a tip-off about a possible impersonator, the squad conducted a thorough screening in the classroom. Sharad, son of Devendra Kumar, was identified as the individual writing the exam instead of his brother, Abhishek. After verifying identity cards and other documents, authorities confirmed the fraud and apprehended Sharad on the spot.
During subsequent questioning, it was revealed that Sharad is a student of Sant Vivekanand Inter College in Usraahaar. The situation escalated with the arrival of Sub-divisional magistrate Shweta Mishra from Takha at the exam centre. SHO Hakim Singh confirmed that a formal case has been registered against the accused, marking a strict legal stance against such violations.

DIOS Atul Kumar Singh emphasized that legal action is being pursued against both the student and the solver involved in this separate case. These events underscore a pattern of cheating attempts that authorities are actively working to curb through increased vigilance and stringent measures.
