Ayaan Agnihotri's Bollywood Playback Debut in Bandar

Musician Ayaan Agnihotri, widely recognized by his stage name Agni, has taken a significant leap in his musical journey by making his Bollywood playback singing debut. After releasing several independent tracks, the young artist has now lent his voice to the song C'mon Baby, featured in Bobby Deol's film Bandar. This project marks his first collaboration with a mainstream Hindi film as a playback singer.

Why Was 'C'mon Baby' Special for Ayaan Agnihotri?

For Agni, this opportunity held deep personal significance due to his long-standing connection with Bobby Deol. Having known the actor since childhood, he viewed the recording process as more than just a professional assignment. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, he said, "It was very exciting to have 'C'mon Baby' for my first Bollywood track. I have known Bobby uncle since I was a child and making the track for him was a different experience." The singer described the moment as memorable and meaningful, especially because it involved someone closely connected to his family.

Agni also spoke about the friendship between his father, filmmaker Atul Agnihotri, and Bobby Deol. According to him, their relationship dates back to their college years and continued through their early days in the film industry. Sharing that connection, he said, "My dad and Bobby uncle were in college together, they have been friends since then and even started their acting careers together. It was an interesting and wholesome experience recording playback for Bobby uncle." The family bond added an emotional dimension to his first Bollywood playback assignment and made the project even more special.

Ayaan Agnihotri Hails 'Bandar' and Bobby Deol's Performance

The musician did not hold back while discussing the film itself. He praised the story and highlighted Bobby Deol's performance as one of the major strengths of the project. Speaking about the film, he said, "Bandar was gritty and phenomenal. Bobby uncle's performance was fantastic. It's definitely some of the best work that he's done. It's a different character, and you get to witness his gruesome journey. I really enjoyed the film."

While C'mon Baby marks his first playback outing, Agni made it clear that he is open to pursuing more opportunities in Bollywood in the future. Discussing his plans, he stated, "Yes, definitely. I am happy to help. Any opportunities that come my way are most welcome."
