Chelsea Handler Mocks Tony Hinchcliffe at Kevin Hart Roast

Chelsea Handler targeted Tony Hinchcliffe during Netflix's live special 'The Roast of Kevin Hart' on Sunday, using her set to mock his politics, public image, and past controversies. The roast, built around comedian Kevin Hart, brought together several major entertainers and included a surprise appearance by Tom Brady. Handler aimed some of her sharpest lines at Hinchcliffe, who has drawn attention for his links to supporters of US President Donald Trump.

Handler's Sharp Jabs

Netflix aired the comedy special live, while Bill Maher was later referenced in connection with Hinchcliffe's comments about his 2024 Trump rally appearance. During her set, Handler singled out Hinchcliffe and said, 'Tony is what happens when women don't have safe access to abortion care.' She continued, 'Tony, you have the face of a school shooter and the personality of someone who gets shot first.' Hinchcliffe responded with a reluctant smile and nod as the jokes landed.

Handler then mocked his appearance, saying, 'You must be using Crest White Supremacist Strips.' She also referenced his friendship with podcast host Joe Rogan and asked, 'Tony, quick question: if you're here tonight, who's keeping Joe Rogan's balls warm in their mouth?'

Criticism of Riyadh Comedy Festival

Handler also criticized comics who performed at the 2025 Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia. Human rights groups had criticized the event over the kingdom's record on free speech and civil liberties. 'Now that your favorite leader is making the draft mandatory, I assume that all of you will be signing up to go fight the war in Iran,' she said. 'Or do you tough-talking p---ies only go to the Middle East for comedy festivals?' Reports said Hinchcliffe declined an offer worth USD 1 million to perform at the event.

Hinchcliffe's Response and Background

During his own set later in the program, Hinchcliffe called Handler a 'cold frigid b---h.' Hinchcliffe faced backlash after a 2024 Trump campaign rally at Madison Square Garden, where he called Puerto Rico a 'floating island of garbage' and used a sexual slur about Latino immigrants. Trump later distanced himself and said he had 'no idea' who Hinchcliffe was. In a May 2025 interview with Bill Maher, Hinchcliffe said he joined the rally because he wanted people to vote for Trump 'without a doubt.'
