Chitrangada Singh disclosed that she was offered pivotal roles in two films that went on to become cult classics. She turned down the role of Nagma Khatun in Anurag Kashyap's 2012 epic 'Gangs of Wasseypur,' a part that eventually catapulted Richa Chadha to fame. Furthermore, she revealed that director Anand L. Rai had approached her for the lead in 'Tanu Weds Manu,' which later became a career-defining film for Kangana Ranaut.
Reflecting on these decisions, Singh admitted, "I think at that time I listened to too many people and made some bad choices." Her candid admission highlights the unpredictable nature of film selections and their long-term impact on an actor's trajectory.
