Demonte Colony 3 Completes Filming, Aims for Global Summer Release
The production team behind the highly anticipated horror thriller Demonte Colony 3 has officially announced the completion of principal photography. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and starring Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles, the film has now moved into its final post-production phase. The makers are preparing for a grand worldwide theatrical release scheduled for the upcoming summer season.
Producer Lauds Director's Discipline and Timely Completion
Producer Sudhan Sundaram expressed his admiration for the director's professionalism, stating that a filmmaker's skill is measured not only by narrative and technical excellence but also by the ability to deliver a project on time. Demonte Colony 3 was shot on a large scale across diverse locations, including Portugal, Malta, Leh-Ladakh, and Chennai. Sundaram revealed that given the extensive star cast and technical crew, completing the shoot within the planned schedule could have been extremely challenging.
"I was actually prepared to extend both the shooting timeline and the budget because I was so impressed with how the film was developing," Sundaram said. "However, director Ajay Gnanamuthu displayed exemplary discipline and punctuality, ensuring the entire production was wrapped as planned within just 80 days."

Director Ajay Gnanamuthu acknowledged the support of the production team, describing the journey of creating Demonte Colony 3 as immensely fulfilling. He highlighted that even the most demanding challenges felt seamless due to the consistent and generous backing from the crew. Gnanamuthu specifically praised Arulnithi's conviction and dedication, which he found particularly inspiring.
"The technical crew and the entire cast stood as steadfast pillars, enabling us to complete the shoot within the planned 80-day schedule," Gnanamuthu added.
