In a recent candid conversation, actor Naveen Kaushik, who is part of the film's ensemble, expressed his sheer astonishment at what the makers managed to portray on screen. Speaking to Just Too Filmy, Kaushik admitted that certain violent elements left him questioning how they were approved for viewing.
He specifically highlighted a brutal torture sequence involving Arjun Rampal's character. "I read the script, but seeing the final creation was something else," Kaushik stated. He pointed to the intense 26/11 scene and the moment where Rampal's character confronts Hamza about a spy within their ranks as "spine-chilling." Reflecting on the subsequent torture scene, his reaction was one of disbelief: "I just thought, 'Yeh allow ho gaya'? That scene is insane."
The Unbelievable Scale: A Township Built for Film
Beyond the violence, Kaushik was profoundly impressed by the monumental scale of the production. He recalled initial doubts about whether director Aditya Dhar and his team could successfully execute their grand vision.
Those doubts vanished during the shoot in Bangkok. The production team had transformed 8 entire blocks to meticulously recreate Pakistan's Lyari area, complete with authentic shops, houses, and alleys. "That's when I realised the scale of the film is huge," Kaushik remarked.
The set was so elaborate that it functioned as a fully operational township for 40 days. The crew lived in the actual houses built on set when not filming. The infrastructure included a dedicated restaurant and separate housing units for the costume, makeup, and action teams. "People were living on the set... For 40 days it was like an actual township. That's when I was like, 'Iss film ka scale alag hai'," he shared, emphasizing the unique undertaking.

Reiterating his favourite part, Kaushik again pointed to the masterfully crafted suspense of the spy revelation scene preceding the 26/11 sequence, describing it as profoundly chilling. He also noted that a particularly graphic torture scene, which appears in the trailer, took him by complete surprise in its final form.
