Miranda Hope, star of the reality series 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives', has publicly confirmed that her ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, shared a kiss with her co-star, Jessi Draper. This revelation comes amid Jessi's ongoing divorce proceedings from her husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, adding a layer of personal drama to the show's cast dynamics.
Miranda Hope Details the Betrayal and Reactions
In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 27-year-old reality star opened up about the incident and how each party involved has handled the fallout. Miranda expressed her familiarity with such situations, stating, "Unfortunately, I am familiar with this territory. I knew there had been communication between Chase and Jessi, but not to what extent."
She went on to describe the responses from Chase and Jessi. "Chase was upfront and told me that they were talking and that they kissed," Miranda revealed. Regarding Jessi, she shared, "Jessi reached out only after she knew Chase had told me something was going on with them. And today, at the same time a rumor started spreading online that something was going on with Chase and Jessi, I received apology flowers from Jessi."
Miranda Hope Feels Disrespected by Ex-Husband and Friend
Miranda emphasized that she holds no emotional attachment to Chase, clarifying their relationship as strictly co-parents. "He is my co-parent. Although I do feel disrespected by Chase, I feel slighted by my friend. Chase and I are no longer partners, and while I have a high expectation of him as a co-parent, I also hold my friends to a high standard and believe in girl code," she explained. This statement underscores her disappointment in both individuals, highlighting a breach of trust that extends beyond her past marriage.
Focusing on Family Amidst Chaos
Miranda shares two children, Brooks and Cohen, with Chase McWhorter, and she is prioritizing their well-being during this turbulent time. "With everything going on and all the chaos, I am just focusing on my kids," Miranda shared. "As unfortunate as the film break is and then also this betrayal I'm going to try and focus on my kids and reground myself. I am processing it and moving forward."
The reality star stressed that her attention remains firmly on her family as she navigates the entanglement between Jessi and Chase. This personal drama coincides with the show 'Mormon Wives' being on a hiatus from filming, adding to the challenges she faces professionally and personally.
Miranda Hope's candid revelations shed light on the complexities of reality TV relationships and the personal struggles that often unfold behind the scenes. Her focus on co-parenting and family stability serves as a testament to her resilience in the face of betrayal and public scrutiny.
