Nazriya Nazim Opens Up About Her Dynamic Marriage with Fahadh Faasil

When questioned about the perceived dynamic where she is more outgoing and Fahadh tends toward introversion, Nazriya clarified that this contrast is a source of strength. She emphasized that Fahadh's home persona differs significantly from his public image, with their traits complementing each other seamlessly.
Nazriya explained, "He is not at all an introvert at home! But this works because there are days when we choose to be introverts and extroverts! There is a balance. According to him, when there are more than seven people in a room, that's a big party. But if you ask his friends, they will tell you he is not an introvert. He will always be a storyteller and narrate stories when we are around."
Managing Film Roles and Home Life
Nazriya also humorously addressed how Fahadh's intense film characters occasionally affect his mood post-shooting. She shared that they have established boundaries to prevent these roles from influencing their home environment.
She joked, "He doesn't have the option to come home with (his characters) anymore. We have reached this middle ground now. If he comes home like Shammi (Kumbalangi Nights), he will get it from me."
Understanding Fahadh's ADHD Diagnosis
In a previous interview with Manorama Online, Nazriya spoke openly about Fahadh's diagnosis with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at age 41. She revealed that many of his personality traits were familiar to her long before the diagnosis, as their life together had naturally acclimated her to his behavior.
Nazriya said, "Fahadh has ADHD, but I started living with Shanu (Fahadh) even before we were aware of his condition. I had been accustomed to his personality traits for quite some time, and they naturally became a part of our lives. Knowing about the condition now has made me a bit more patient, but beyond that, nothing in our life has changed."
Fahadh himself disclosed this diagnosis during an event at Peace Valley Children’s Village, adding a layer of public awareness to their personal journey.
