A special cultural evening held at the Church of Scientology in Hollywood brought India's rich classical music heritage to a diverse international audience.

The event featured Swami Shuvananda Puri Maharaj alongside Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, serving as a profound tribute to the maestro's national honor and his lifelong dedication to Indian classical music. This gathering underscored the global appreciation for traditional Indian arts and the significance of cultural diplomacy.
Vibrant Performances by Artists of All Generations
The concert showcased a dynamic blend of senior artists and emerging talents, highlighting the continuity of the guru-shishya parampara. The evening commenced with a captivating Teentaal tabla solo by Shreyas Iyer from Phoenix, setting a rhythmic foundation for the performances that followed.
This was succeeded by a soulful flute recital in Raag Hamswadhwani by Rama V. Rao, a dedicated disciple of Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya. The event concluded with Hindustani vocalist Sushma Kashyap Pawan presenting Raag Puriya Dhaneshree and a devotional bhajan, accompanied by the skilled tabla maestro Pandit Jyotirmay Roychowdhury.
