In an exclusive conversation with ETimes, veteran actor and filmmaker Sachin Pilgaonkar has shared heartfelt memories of the late legendary singer Asha Bhosle, revealing a personal family connection that predates his own illustrious career.

Sachin Pilgaonkar, who has been part of Indian cinema for over five decades, disclosed that his mother actively participated in song recordings alongside Asha Bhosle. "Remembering Ashatai, she was hugely talented, blessed, yet so down to earth," Pilgaonkar reminisced. "As a child, I first met her at a recording when I was with my mother. Ashatai met her very fondly, and later I came to know that my mother used to participate with her in song recordings."
