In a heartfelt gesture, Dhawan spent time with the martyr's wife, Smt. Dhano Devi, and his son, Colonel Sushil Kumar Dahiya. The actor later expressed his profound emotions on social media, sharing candid pictures from the encounter. He described feeling "deeply honoured" to receive their blessings, calling it an "incredible honour" to carry forward the legacy of the war hero. His post concluded with a patriotic "Jai Hind."
