The actor is very hands-on when it comes to his youngest son, AbRam. He has been spotted at his youngest son’s school events on multiple occasions. Cheering from the crowd and lending his full support to him, Khan has always been there for his children, through and through. In 2024, he was spotted attending an event at the school with his wife and daughter, and also taking photos and videos of AbRam on his phone with a smile on his face.
He Believes His Children Should Write Their Own Destiny
Over the years, the actor has stated on multiple occasions that he is quite protective of his children. He has also stated on multiple occasions that his children do not need to follow in his footsteps; however, he will still be happy if they do. While talking to IANS in 2015 about the same, the actor had said, "I don't believe in legacy. My father was not an actor. I became an actor, and I feel there is no need for my children to become actors. I will not tell them what they should do, as I have never been told by my parents what to do. It does not matter what I want for my children, except what they want to be. And if they do not become actors, I'll still love them more."

The ‘King’ actor never shies away from publicly showing support for his family and his children. He has always publicly celebrated all of his children’s achievements on social media quite actively. Years ago, when Suhana received her degree from London’s Ardingly College, the actor made sure to share a sweet video of her on his page. When his son, Aryan Khan, landed his first major role as a director with ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood’, Shah Rukh Khan was one of the first ones to congratulate his son and share photos and videos from the OTT project on his social media account.
Educating His Children About Life and Important Matters
While talking to the Indian Express in an old interview, the actor had stated, “I teach my 21-year-old son that disrespecting a person is not okay, and I don’t mean beating or the kind of things that #MeToo has brought out. I’m talking about basic respect.” He has always been vocal about how he wishes for his children to be good people and how he has always tried to impart his knowledge about life on them. In another IANS interview, the actor had also stated that all of his kids are 'sorted.' He had added, “My kids are extremely sorted… They are more sorted than I am. Strangely, people would expect the star kids to be spoiled, but they are damn good kids. Aryan is a nice, strong boy, and so is Suhana, and they both like films.”
