This article delves into the house specifically designed for the film.
About the Chandigarh House Featured in 'Main Vaapas Aaunga'
The 5BHK house is a real property located in Sector 8, Chandigarh, spanning 13,000 square feet. Gayatri Bedi Designs, responsible for decorating the house for the film, shared a video showcasing the layout and their collaboration with Imtiaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh.
How the Team Secured the House
In an interview with NDTV, designer Gayatri Bedi explained that the location managers from Imtiaz Ali's team initially contacted the owner. She noted, 'We coordinated with the film crew and provided a detailed walkthrough of the interiors, highlighting key design elements and special features showcased in the movie.' Her team planned everything to align with the film's vibe.
High-End Features of the House
The video revealed luxurious amenities, including five full bedrooms, a large private pool, a stunning rooftop sunroom, and a recreational space designed like a theatre with a large screen, sofas, and recliners.
Vast Space with Large Windows and Doors
The property features white contrasting walls, large glass doors and windows, private balconies for most rooms, and marble flooring. The main rooftop area boasts an extravagant chandelier and an orange-painted ceiling. The furniture follows a rustic yet minimalist aesthetic. The design studio added in their caption, 'Watching the same space move from our design journey to the big screen was a proud moment for the entire team.'
