Before taking the extreme step on Friday, May 22, the soldier went live on Facebook and spoke about his distress. He alleged that his wife had left him and accused her and her family of pushing him to the edge. He also sought accountability for the breakdown of the marriage.

Funeral Conducted in Native Village
