Television couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa are adored for their impeccable comic timing and hosting skills, having carved a strong niche in the reality show space. The duo recently appeared on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi's YouTube show, Double Date. During the conversation, Bharti and Haarsh opened up about the beginning of their love story and the judgment and criticism they encountered in the early stages of their marriage.
Haarsh on Being Judged for Bharti's Success
On the chat show, Haarsh Limbachiyaa was asked whether people judged their marriage because Bharti Singh was already famous while he was relatively unknown. Responding, Haarsh said, "Yes, it was there, a lot. If you are marrying a girl… society says that the man should be more successful than the woman. No one has an issue with that. But when a woman is more successful than a man, people find it strange."
Haarsh further shared that he too felt somewhat uncomfortable about the situation initially. However, over time, he chose to work harder, improve himself, and create his own identity in the industry. He elaborated, "I also used to feel a bit ajeeb (uncomfortable) earlier, but then I felt that I don't have to do anything except keep making my work better and grow. I was getting paid really well as a writer, but I still ventured into production because I thought becoming a producer would at least help me reach her level in some way. Then I started creative direction as well. I almost wrote and created the show Comedy Nights Bachao. After that, I gained the confidence that I can also do something."
Their Love Story
Recalling how their love story began, the couple first met on Comedy Circus, where Haarsh worked as a writer for the comedienne. Initially, he used to write scripts for Bharti Singh, and over time, their friendship blossomed into love. After dating for some time, the couple got married in a lavish three-day wedding ceremony in Goa in 2017. They became parents for the first time in 2022 with the birth of their son, Laksh. Bharti welcomed their second baby boy in 2025, whom they have named Yashveer. The couple often shares moments from their personal life through daily vlogs on their YouTube channel, Watch.
Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa also recently spent a day out at an animal shelter, showcasing their love for animals and family time.
