The District Congress Committee (Urban), Karnal, observed the birthday of senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as a day of service and social commitment by organizing a blood donation camp at the District Civil Hospital on Friday. Party leaders, workers, volunteers, and social activists participated in the drive.
Leaders Emphasize Humanitarian Service
Parag Gaba, president of the District Congress Committee (Urban), stated that Rahul Gandhi represents the politics of love, brotherhood, and public service. He added that the blood donation camp aimed to help needy patients and strengthen the spirit of humanitarian service in society.
Gaba highlighted that blood donation is one of the greatest forms of donation as it can give a new lease of life to those in need. He urged the youth to donate blood regularly and contribute to society.
Prominent Leaders Address Workers
Divyanshu Budhiraja, former state youth party president who contested the Lok Sabha elections from Karnal, former MLAs Bakhshish Singh Virk and Dharampal Gonder, district vice-president Joginder Valmiki, and other leaders addressed party workers on the occasion.
Ex-MLAs Bakhshish Singh Virk and Dharampal Gonder praised the blood donors, asserting that the Congress has always prioritized public service in its activities.
