Currys prioritize relationship over parenting and careers

Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry have consistently aimed to keep their personal lives private despite their fame and constant public attention. While both have ventured into entrepreneurship together, Ayesha recently shared insights into how they prioritize their lives.

Ayesha Curry on balancing busy lives with children

In an interview with PEOPLE a few months ago, Ayesha Curry explained their approach: "I think for us, our relationship always comes first. Then we're parents… And that works for us because then you have two happy people raising the kids in the house. So the family sector in our lives always comes first."

The entrepreneur continued, "And then honestly, it's just surrounding ourselves with people that are smarter than us and know what they're doing and can make the things run… And they allow us the space to be creative and they allow us the space to truly show up however we choose to. And I think that's what's really worked for us."

While Stephen Curry remains focused on his NBA career, Ayesha has built her own path. In recent years, she launched a successful skincare brand called Sweet July. Additionally, she has become an author and a popular actress, all while managing their four children: Riley (13), Ryan (10), Canon (7), and son Caius.

Ayesha Curry's career aspirations sparked controversy

Interestingly, when Ayesha expressed her desire to have her own career last year, she faced heavy trolling. Many accused her of "insulting" four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry. The backlash became so intense that Golden State Warriors star Stephen publicly defended his wife. However, Ayesha chose to remain silent and distanced herself from the hate she experienced in the following months.
