She revealed that even from a young age in that small town, she aspired to become a Hollywood star and dreamed of acting on the big screen. She added, 'At home, the TV was often on. My parents said I was 3 when I first told them I’d be an actor. I think I saw acting as a way to be somebody who didn’t have to blend in.' Another adorable habit she picked up was copying TV show stars who wore glasses. From an early age, Davis was inspired by the glitz and glamour of show business.
As for her start in the industry, which came much later, Davis made the most of her childhood. She opened up about her best friend, Lucyann, sharing that the two of them 'would put on lots of silly plays, many based on TV shows.'
