Whitlock Labels Sanders Brothers 'The Three Stooges'
After comparing Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders, and Shilo Sanders to the characters of The Three Stooges, Jason Whitlock labeled Shilo Sanders as the 'dumbest of the Sanders clan.'
Jason Whitlock started his 'Fearless with Jason Whitlock' podcast saying, 'You know I call the Sanders boys, Deion, Shilo, and Shedeur, The Three Stooges. Yeah, they are the Moe, Larry, and Curly of football. But the dumbest of The Three Stooges is clearly Shilo Sanders.'
Jason Whitlock further mentioned why: 'You remember Shilo Sanders, the guy that beat up a security guard in high school, got sued, has cost himself a lot of money. The guy that got an undrafted free agent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and threw a punch in a game and got ejected. Yeah, that guy. Well, he is at it again. He is picking fights and causing problems for his brother, attacking Mary Kay Cabot, the reporter who covers the Cleveland Browns. It is not smart. It is just an attention grab for Shilo. It, in no way, helps Shedeur.'
Deion Sanders May Have to Defend Shilo Sanders for Mary Kay Cabot Comment
After stating that Shilo Sanders' verbal battle for his brother Shedeur Sanders' QB1 position is creating a circus, Jason Whitlock referenced their father, Deion Sanders, saying that the father may have to defend his son's comments to a female reporter.
'In fact, it just increases the circus around Shedeur,' Jason Whitlock said. 'It causes a problem for Deion. Deion is going to have to answer questions about Shilo attacking a female reporter who reported that Deshaun Watson seems to have the pole position to be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. Shilo thinks Shedeur should be the starting quarterback, and so he attacked Mary Kay Cabot by telling her to fix him a sandwich.'
Deion Sanders did react to Shilo Sanders' comment. 'Y'all are over here tripping about what someone said on the internet,' said Deion Sanders via JaKi on X. 'I ain't got time for that. I have got too many things I am praying for... You are majoring on the minor.'
Jason Whitlock Does Not Want Jason Brown to Save Shilo Sanders Like Superman
After mentioning Shilo Sanders' father, Deion Sanders, Jason Whitlock brought in a fourth character in the form of a former college football coach and 'The Coach JB Show with Big Smitty' host, Jason Brown. Jason Whitlock said that Jason Brown was saving Shilo Sanders wearing a Superman cape.
'Let me tell you what is even more shocking. Let us add a fourth Sanders brother to this cast. Coach Jason Brown,' Jason Whitlock said. 'JB trying to join the Sanders clan in stupidity. JB is caping up and wearing a Superman cape for Shilo. He had Shilo on his show and kissed Shilo's butt and celebrated Shilo for causing these problems for Shedeur. This is crazy. JB, I get it. Mary Kay Cabot probably does not know the most about football. Women are in jobs and in roles they should not be. But Shilo Sanders is not Coach JB. He is not Jason Whitlock. He is not Big Smitty. He is the brother of Shedeur Sanders, who is in a fight for his life as a quarterback in the NFL, who does not need more controversy, does not need to be picking a fight with a woman. Does not need that type of heat and distraction. JB, what are you doing? You are celebrating Shilo for causing Shedeur more problems? For causing Deion more problems? Take the cape off, JB. Deshaun Watson vs Shedeur Sanders in Cleveland Browns
Jason Whitlock does not want unnecessary attention around Shedeur Sanders, but his brother, Shilo Sanders, is doing just the opposite. This may hamper his QB1 status. As of May, Deshaun Watson is holding an edge over Year 2 QB Shedeur Sanders. If Watson becomes QB1, then Shedeur Sanders may become QB2, then what would happen to Dillon Gabriel?
And it all started when Cleveland Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot revealed inside information that Deshaun Watson holds a firmer stance than Shedeur Sanders. Yes, Watson is returning after an absent season, more like two absent seasons, but the Browns desperately need to reverse their 2024 (3-14) and 2025 (5-12) records. They had Kevin Stefanski then, and now have Baltimore Ravens' offensive coordinator, Todd Monken, as their head coach. This should carry more weight, and considering that Todd Monken wanted to draft Shedeur Sanders in Baltimore, should it carry more weight here in Cleveland, too? Especially when it comes to QB1 status. Remains to be seen.
