The Indian duo of Vanshika Chaudhary and Shiva Narwal secured a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team junior event at the ongoing ISSF Junior World Championship 2026 in Suhl, Germany, on Wednesday. The pair delivered a composed performance to add another podium finish to India's impressive campaign.

With this silver, India's overall medal count has risen to 16 medals, comprising 5 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze. The Indian contingent continues to lead the medal standings, showcasing consistency across individual, team, and mixed team events, according to a press release from the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).
Previous Medal Wins
On Monday, Pritam Kendre won gold in the 10m Air Rifle Men Junior event, marking India's fifth gold of the championship. Additionally, the women's 25m Pistol Junior Team—comprising Anjali Mahendra Bhagwat, Parisha Gupta, and Nithila Ivy Darling Praveen Christopher—earned a bronze medal. Another bronze came in the 25m Pistol Men Junior Team event, where Abhinav Choudhary, Raj Chandra, and Jatin delivered a strong performance. Earlier, Anvii Rathod won bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Women Junior event.
