The Met Gala this year was a spectacular display of creativity, with celebrities showcasing their most imaginative looks. BLACKPINK's Lisa, known for her bold and dramatic fashion choices, went all out for the 2026 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Lisa Stuns in a White Gown with 3D Printed Hands
The 29-year-old singer captivated onlookers in a white gown designed by fashion visionary Robert Wun. Her standout accessory was an elaborate headpiece featuring two 3D-printed arms that held onto a cape and extended into a train. The tented dress gave the illusion that the singer was inside a tent, stunning everyone at the gala.
According to a report by Vogue, the 3D-printed arms were modeled from Lisa's own arms and designed to depict a traditional Thai dance pose, paying homage to her cultural heritage. WWD further reported that the white mermaid-style gown was adorned with 66,960 White Swarovski crystals embedded in the embroidery. The intricate dress required approximately 2,860 hours of meticulous handwork to complete.
While Lisa had previously graced the Met Gala red carpet, this year was particularly special as she joined the official hosting committee for the first time. The 2026 committee also includes Zoë Kravitz, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Misty Copeland, Lena Dunham, and several others.
