Marcellus Wiley, the former NFL Pro Bowler and media personality, is facing four new sexual assault allegations, adding to three earlier claims filed in 2023. The latest lawsuits were filed in April 2026, as first reported by Rolling Stone and later reviewed by Awful Announcing through court documents.
Former ESPN Coworker's Account
One of the new claims comes from a woman who worked with Wiley at ESPN. She alleges that in 2009, Wiley called her to his hotel room under the pretense of a work meeting. Instead, she claims the encounter turned into a sexual assault. In court documents, she described being pushed against a window and fearing for her life. She stated, "When we went to his room, Wiley excused himself to use the bathroom. He emerged from the bathroom naked. He pushed me up against the windows of the room so hard I thought they would shatter. I was petrified and believed I was going to be killed." She further recounted that she pleaded with him to stop, but he pushed her face down on the bed, making it difficult for her to breathe, and masturbated over her until he ejaculated before allowing her to leave.
Alleged Grooming of a Minor
Another accuser claims she first met Wiley when she was 13 years old in Buffalo, New York, while he was playing for the Buffalo Bills. She alleges that Wiley built trust with her and her family over time, inviting them to games and his home. He reportedly spoke about his degree from Columbia University, which made her feel he was respected and trustworthy. After she turned 18, she says Wiley flew her to Dallas, where he allegedly assaulted her. She also claims he raised his voice in a way that scared her and pressured her into sex.
Total Allegations and Responses
These new accusations bring the total number of claims against Wiley to seven. The earlier three were filed in 2023, which Wiley publicly denied. As of now, Wiley has not responded to the latest filings. His wife, Annemarie Wiley, who appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has also not made any public statement. ESPN has declined to comment on the matter. The case is still developing, and no court decision has been made yet. The filings present only the claims from the accusers, and the legal process is ongoing.
