Nagpur Event Honors Mothers for Women Empowerment

Nagpur: Marking Mother's Day with a powerful message of women empowerment, the Purva Vidarbha Mahila Parishad (PVMP) organized a felicitation ceremony at its North Ambazari Road office on Sunday. The event honored mothers whose silent support has been instrumental in shaping confident women and successful women-led enterprises.

Celebrating Unsung Contributions

The program brought together women entrepreneurs, homemakers, and mothers from urban, rural, and tribal areas, creating an emotional and inspiring atmosphere centered on the often-unseen contributions of mothers. Deviating from conventional celebrations, the event highlighted how mothers frequently emerge as the backbone of women's entrepreneurial journeys, offering emotional strength, encouragement, and resilience during difficult phases of life.

Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods

The initiative also underscored the importance of sustainable living and financial independence by providing a platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase handmade, eco-friendly, and locally produced goods. Addressing the gathering, PVMP president Nutan Kolaskar said the organization is committed to creating opportunities for all women to showcase their potential.
