"Even talking about it right now just makes me like... It just makes me nervous and have like a pit in my stomach," she said while calling the allegations "gruesome and horrific."

She continued, "And I think just constantly reading those headlines was really getting to me. I was getting nightmares about it. And just thinking like this arrested murderer pedophile was someone who was in my home. Who connected me with so many other people. We have so many mutuals."

The comments quickly spread across social media, where many viewers expressed sympathy for the streamer. Others pointed to the unsettling reality that several internet personalities had crossed paths with D4vd long before the investigation became public.

Pokimane also admitted the situation has made her rethink how easily dangerous behavior can go unnoticed online.

"It's scary that no one suspected anything like that," she added during the stream.

D4vd investigation continues as creators react online

Authorities allege that D4vd murdered 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez after inviting her to his Hollywood Hills home in April 2025. Prosecutors also claim the singer attempted to cover up the crime and later purchased suspicious items online using a false identity.

The allegations have triggered strong reactions across the creator community. N3on also addressed the controversy during a recent stream, condemning the singer in emotional terms after recalling a brief interaction with him in the past.

Pokimane's connection to D4vd became a major talking point because she appeared in his 2025 music video for "What Are You Waiting For?" alongside streamer Jasontheween. The resurfacing clip has fueled even more discussion online, with fans revisiting older collaborations and public appearances involving the singer.

D4vd is expected back in court on May 12 for a status hearing as the high-profile case continues to unfold.
