Samantha-Raj Wedding: Sister's Emotional Post Reveals Family's Joy & 'Gentle Alignment'
Samantha-Raj Wedding: Sister's Heartfelt Post on Family's Joy

In a deeply personal social media tribute, Sheetal Nidimoru, the sister of filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, has publicly celebrated the union of her brother and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple entered into matrimony in a private ceremony held on December 1, marking a fresh start for both.

A Sister's Heartfelt Prayer of Gratitude

Sheetal Nidimoru took to Instagram to pen a lengthy and emotional note, describing a profound spiritual moment. She recounted being at the Chandrakund, praying to Shiva during the pradoṣha time. "Soaked, shivering... I found myself embracing the Shivalingam with a heart full of tears. Not tears of pain… but tears of gratitude," she wrote. This gratitude, she clarified, stemmed from the peace and clarity now surrounding their family.

Recognising that this marriage is a second chapter for both Samantha and Raj, Sheetal expressed a profound sense of rightness. "Gratitude for the peace I feel in this moment, for the clarity that has settled around our family, and for the deep sense of ‘gentle alignment’ in Raj and Samantha’s journey," her post read.

Family Stands With "Calm Dignity and Honesty"

The Nidimoru family's full-throated support for the newlyweds was a central theme of Sheetal's message. She stated that the family feels immense pride in how the couple is moving forward. "As a family we feel so proud of how they are walking forward… with calm dignity, honesty, and a steadiness that only comes when two hearts choose the same path with intention," she elaborated.

She left no room for doubt about their backing, adding, "And as a family, we stand by them together, fully, joyfully, and without hesitation, blessing them and supporting them in every way."

Sacred Rituals at a Meaningful Venue

The wedding was solemnised at the Isha Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore, a venue with significant personal importance to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The temple is part of the Isha Foundation, the non-profit organisation founded by Sadhguru.

Sheetal highlighted the beauty of performing Isha rituals together as a family on this special day. "It felt like life aligning itself in the most beautiful way. It reminded me that some relationships don’t just happen… they arrive with peace," she shared. In her closing thoughts, she lit sesame oil lamps with a prayer for everyone to find a similarly peaceful love.

"May everyone find a love that feels this peaceful, this steady, and this right," Sheetal wished. The bride, Samantha, was quick to acknowledge the touching post, commenting simply, "Love you," on her sister-in-law's Instagram page.

This union brings together two prominent figures from the South Indian film industry, both embarking on a new journey after their previous marriages. Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021, while Raj was earlier married to Shhyamali De.
