Sanjay Raut's Cryptic Post: 'Some Are Dogs, But Not Loyal'

Political tensions between Shiv Sena (UBT) and the faction led by Eknath Shinde have escalated, with leaders exchanging sharp remarks. On Saturday, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut posted a cryptic infographic on social media, targeting the rival group.

Raut's Cryptic Message

The infographic featured text in Hindi: 'Kuch log Kuttey toh hoty hain Lekin wafa'daar Nahi hoty' (Some are dogs, but they are not loyal). Raut captioned the post as 'Jai Maharashtra!'. The post came amid a war of words following Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's address on the party's 60th foundation day.

Shinde's Remarks

Speaking to Shiv Sena workers on the foundation day, Shinde defended his rebellion against Uddhav Thackeray's leadership. He claimed that people have endorsed the decision taken by his faction four years ago. 'This tiger is in front of you. Dogs come in packs and bark, but a tiger comes alone,' Shinde said, taking a swipe at UBT Sena leaders.

UBT Sena's Internal Crisis

The political landscape in Maharashtra is witnessing a potential second split within the Shiv Sena. UBT Sena is grappling with internal rifts, as six MPs are rumored to have joined Shinde's faction. Raut announced that show-cause notices have been issued to the absentees, initiating the formal process for their disqualification from the Lok Sabha.

Thackeray's Response

On Friday, Uddhav Thackeray addressed party workers on the foundation day, stating he would step down if allegations against him were proven true. However, he asserted that he would never allow the Shiv Sena to be handed over to 'any thief'. Thackeray also attacked the BJP, accusing it of weakening democracy through its style of politics.

The political drama continues to unfold, with both factions engaging in a bitter war of words and maneuvering for control.
