Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly hired Mark Seed, the celebrity wedding planner behind Jennifer Lawrence's 2019 wedding to Cooke Maroney, to organize their upcoming nuptials. Multiple sources, including Page Six and TMZ, confirm Seed has been working on the event "for months." The wedding is reportedly scheduled around July 3 in New York City, with Madison Square Garden emerging as the central venue. Swift has reportedly called guests personally to keep plans under wraps.
Who is Mark Seed, the wedding planner behind the Swift-Kelce big day?
Mark Seed operates through Exposure NY and is not publicly available for general bookings. His profile page notes he takes clients "by special request" only, which tells you everything about the tier he operates in. According to DeuxMoi, he also worked on Jack Antonoff's wedding to Margaret Qualley. Antonoff, of course, has been one of Swift's closest collaborators for years. An insider described Seed as someone who "can build something spectacular out of nothing" and said he is "renowned for never, ever talking about his clients." In a wedding this size, that last part matters just as much as his design credentials.
Where will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce actually get married?
Earlier reports pointed to Swift's own New York City home as the venue. That plan appears to have changed. According to Page Six, the couple has shifted the celebrations to Madison Square Garden, with guests transported from the arena to the actual wedding location in blacked-out buses. A source told the outlet, "Everyone's been sworn to secrecy." MSG has no major events listed from June 29 through July 6, leaving that window wide open.
TMZ has since added another layer. A massive stage is reportedly being constructed at Rock Lititz, a production facility in Lititz, Pennsylvania, where Taylor had her Reputation Stadium Tour video columns built back in 2018. The stage is being assembled "under lock and key with security guards patrolling the area," per TMZ sources, and is not connected to any current music tour. Guests who spoke to TMZ believe MSG will host the wedding celebration, not the ceremony itself, with a smaller, private ceremony happening before the July 3 event. The MSG guest list reportedly exceeds 1,000 people. Invitees have also received strict NDAs alongside their invitations, with violations said to carry repercussions.
