Has Travis Kelce spoken about changing his surname after his high-profile wedding to billionaire pop star Taylor Swift? No, the Kansas City Chiefs star player has made no such comments about taking on Taylor Swift's surname after they tie the knot.
Parody Post Sparks Confusion
For the unversed, a few hours ago, a parody page on X made a post that read, “Travis Kelce says he will be taking the Swift last name after their marriage this summer.” However, this post is entirely false, as it seems that the story has been fabricated. While millions seem convinced by it, other fans have been able to debunk such fake claims.
Neither the billionaire pop star Taylor Swift nor the star tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs has reacted to such claims about their relationship.
Wedding Plans Under Scrutiny
For now, all focus is on their wedding, as many rumors suggest that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might be planning a “decoy wedding” to escape the spotlight that has been on them for years. As per OK Magazine, the couple might be planning to get married in a private ceremony but could host a public one to distract their fans. This is also being planned considering the threats and stalkers the high-profile couple has been dealing with for the last few years.
“Getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back, those were two things that just never could have happened,” she shared. “It wasn’t like, 'Oh, it’s just a matter of time.' Both those things could have just never arrived in my life. And I'm so grateful for both of those things happening.”
