The rumors surrounding an alleged affair between New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL insider Dianna Russini have only intensified after both parties initially dismissed the claims. While Russini has retreated from the public eye, Vrabel has resumed his duties following a brief hiatus.
Kevin Goldschmidt Stays Out of Spotlight as Vrabel Returns to Work
Over the past several days, speculation has mounted that Dianna Russini's husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, a senior manager at Shake Shack, hired a private investigator to track his wife's whereabouts. This theory has convinced many that Goldschmidt's spy may have leaked photos of Russini with Vrabel at an upscale hotel in Arizona.
However, according to Page Six, the photos were reportedly taken not by a private investigator but by a couple staying at the same hotel as Vrabel and Russini. Russini, a former New York Times NFL reporter, and Goldschmidt have kept a low profile, with Russini even deleting her official X account.
In recent days, Russini has faced intense online trolling, with many urging Goldschmidt to seek a divorce. The situation has been further complicated by the emergence of photos from an alleged date between Vrabel and Russini in 2020, just six months before she married Goldschmidt. The images show the two sitting closely together, with Vrabel kissing Russini.
Vrabel Back at Work Amid Silence
Neither Vrabel nor Russini has provided clarification on the photos. ESPN's Adam Schefter posted on X that Vrabel, after missing Day 3 of the NFL draft to be with his family, is back at work with the team. All eyes are now on Russini's next career move.
