Previous Glimpse and Film Details
Last year, the makers shared a short clip titled the 'Vishwambhara Mega Blast Glimpse,' which reveals a fantasy world built around Chiranjeevi's powerful screen presence. With heavy use of visual effects, the glimpse teases audiences with the promise of grandeur and scale. Sharing the clip on X, the makers wrote, "His MASS and AURA will takeover the universe. #MegaBlastGlimpse from #Vishwambhara out now. Happy Birthday MEGASTAR Chiranjeevi. MEGA MASS BEYOND the UNIVERSE. #Vishwambhara in cinemas Summer 2026."
Chiranjeevi Explains Reason Behind Delay
In a video shared by the makers a day ahead of Chiranjeevi's birthday, the Telugu star addressed speculation about the film's delay. He clarified that the hold-up is largely due to extensive post-production work. "The entire second half of this film is dependent on VFX and graphics. The efforts being put in by the makers to ensure that the best quality output is presented to audiences is the prime reason for the delay," he said.
Apart from Chiranjeevi and Trisha Krishnan, the film also features actress Ashika Ranganath in a pivotal role, alongside Kunal Kapoor. 'Vishwambhara' is set to release in cinemas in Summer 2026.
