Sources close to the production have confirmed that Ruhaanika Dhawan has been roped in for the reality show. She is likely to be the youngest contestant this season, and her entry has added to the excitement. The show marks her return to television and her first project as an adult.
Ruhaanika became a household name after playing young Ruhi in the popular daily soap Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. She shared an adorable on-screen chemistry with Divyanka Tripathi, and audiences loved watching them together.
Show's Comeback After a Break
In February this year, the makers announced the show's return by dropping an AI-generated promo on the official Instagram account of the channel airing the show. For those unaware, Khatron Ke Khiladi returns after a break. The show did not happen last year due to issues between the production house and the channel. However, Rohit Shetty confirmed the show's comeback on Bigg Boss 19. Rohit stepped in to host Bigg Boss 19 in Salman Khan's absence last year and shared, "I should inform the audience that I was observing that they were unhappy about us ('Khatron Ke Khiladi') not being aired this year. But next year, 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' will return once again."
