32 Individuals Receive Free Artificial Limbs and Wheelchairs at Ludhiana Camp

More than 32 people were given artificial limbs, wheelchairs, and other essential aids during the 20th 'Divyang Assistance Camp' organized by the Bharat Vikas Parishad Shaheed Sukhdev Charitable Trust in Ludhiana. The event, held recently, aimed to support differently-abled individuals by providing them with necessary mobility and hearing devices at no cost.

Comprehensive Support Provided

Organizers of the camp confirmed that a range of aids were distributed free of charge, including artificial limbs, wheelchairs, tricycles, and hearing aids. Additionally, meals were arranged for all attendees, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment throughout the event.

Officials Praise Trust's Efforts

Vaneet, the Joint Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation (MC), and Rajiv Vadera, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, addressed the gathering and expressed their appreciation for the initiative. Both officials noted that this was their first opportunity to attend such a camp and commended the Trust for its dedicated service.

Brijbhushan Bansal, president of the Trust, emphasized the organization's commitment to empowering differently-abled individuals. "We organize these camps to ensure that differently-abled people can walk hand-in-hand with society, fostering inclusivity and independence," he said. The Trust plans to continue hosting similar events to reach more beneficiaries in the future.
