A 45-year-old woman from Bengaluru tragically lost her life after experiencing severe breathing difficulties during a visit to the temple town of Dharmasthala in Dakshina Kannada district. The incident occurred on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the local community and among fellow pilgrims.

The woman, identified as Lakshmi, a resident of Bengaluru's KR Puram area, had traveled to Dharmasthala with her family for a religious visit. While at the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala temple premises, she suddenly complained of acute respiratory distress. Bystanders and family members immediately rushed her to the nearby Dharmasthala Government Hospital.
Upon arrival, doctors attempted to stabilize her condition, but her health deteriorated rapidly. She was later referred to a higher medical facility in Mangaluru. However, she succumbed to the breathing complications during the journey to the hospital.
