Half of this group was instructed to take a concoction of copper and resveratrol four times daily for 12 days prior to their operation.

The treatment triggered major biological changes, most notably a near-complete removal of DNA fragments (cell-free chromatin particles) that trigger inflammation and drive cancer aggression.
