Ravi Kishan Promotes Yoga in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur: Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan on Tuesday participated in yoga sessions at different venues in the city as part of the Yoga Week celebrations being organised ahead of the International Day of Yoga on June 21. He stated that yoga is an invaluable part of India’s cultural heritage, helping create harmony between the body, mind, and soul while promoting positivity, energy, and overall wellness.

The MP began his day at a yoga camp organised by the Ayush Department at Vindhyavasini Park, where he performed various asanas and pranayama under the guidance of yoga instructors. “Regular practice of yoga strengthens both physical and mental health and helps prevent several lifestyle-related ailments,” he said.

Kishan urged citizens to make yoga a part of their daily routine rather than limiting it to a single day. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking yoga to the global stage and making it a widely accepted wellness practice across the world.
