The Tarn Taran district administration has finalized all arrangements for the celebration of International Yoga Day on Sunday, June 21. A district-level function will be held at the stadium of the police lines under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Rahul, as confirmed by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karanvir Singh.
Preparations Reviewed by SDM
SDM Karanvir Singh conducted a review of the preparations for the district-level event on Saturday. He emphasized that the nodal officer-cum-district ayurvedic and unani officers are personally overseeing the preparations for the programme. The SDM urged all officials to perform their duties diligently and responsibly to ensure the event's success.
Participation and Dress Code
Officers and employees from all departments, including social service organizations, police personnel, and students, have been encouraged to participate in the event at the Police Lines Ground on June 21 at 5:45 am. Participants are requested to wear a white t-shirt or kurta paired with black bottoms.
Unique Shadow Art Creation
In a creative build-up to the event, a unique shadow art creation was displayed, featuring tiny human figures performing various yoga asanas. This artistic representation highlights the significance of yoga and its universal appeal.
