The festival, scheduled to take place from February 23 to March 4, is one of the largest religious gatherings of women in the world, drawing devotees from across the state and beyond.
Enhanced Security and Safety Measures Announced
Speaking at a review meeting held at the Attukal temple office in Thiruvananthapuram, Minister Vasavan outlined a comprehensive plan to ensure the safety and smooth functioning of the event. He emphasized the need for robust security arrangements, instructing officials to deploy as many women police officers as possible to cater to the predominantly female devotees. Additionally, fire force and excise officials will be stationed in large numbers to handle emergencies and maintain order.
