"Sometimes these wild animals from Van Vihar venture into nearby areas accidentally. This happens mostly when the water level goes down, as they can move more easily. They have been successfully rescued," explained Van Vihar director Vijay Kumar.
It is believed the animals were likely drawn by the scent of greenery or due to a temporary lapse in fencing, leading them to explore the urban fringe. With practiced efficiency, the rescuers gently guided them back to safety, preventing any potential mishaps.
