President of the India-Japan Friendship Centre, Srimant Kumar Das, emphasized that Holi symbolizes brotherhood and unity beyond caste, religion, and social barriers. "While some of our Japanese guests were already familiar with Holi, others were introduced to its deep cultural significance here at the centre," Das explained.
He added, "After witnessing people embrace each other and exchange colors with pure joy, the visitors couldn't resist joining the celebration with great excitement. This interaction beautifully demonstrates how cultural traditions can bring people together."
