The historic town of Madhubani in Bihar is buzzing with anticipation as it completes all preparations for a grand two-day state-level youth festival. The cultural extravaganza is scheduled to commence on December 23 and promises to be a vibrant platform for young talent from across the state.

Festival Inauguration and Grand Tableau

The festivities will kick off with a colorful and energetic tableau, known as Nagar Jhanki, at 7 am on December 23. This procession will originate from Watson High School and wind its way through the town's key landmarks. The planned route includes Thana Mor, Station Chowk, Gangasagar Chowk, and Bata Chowk, before culminating back at the starting point.

The formal inauguration ceremony is set for 11 am at Watson High School. The event will begin with the traditional lamp-lighting ritual, conducted in the presence of distinguished guests, local dignitaries, and officials from the district administration.

A Showcase of Diverse Cultural Talents

Organized jointly by the Department of Art and Culture and the Madhubani District Administration, the festival aims to spotlight the artistic prowess of Bihar's youth. Participants will compete in a wide array of events designed to test their creative and performing skills.
