Specific Observances and Spiritual Commitments
In a detailed circular released on Thursday, the diocese outlined a structured spiritual response. March 8 will be formally observed as a Day of Prayer for Peace. Furthermore, from March 8 through March 14, all faithful are called to pray the Holy Rosary daily, dedicating each recitation specifically to the cause of global peace and reconciliation.
March 13 is designated as a Day of Fasting and Prayer. On this day, the community is encouraged to offer penance and sacrifices, focusing their intentions on the safety and well-being of every individual impacted by violence and warfare across the world.

Most Reverend Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, the Bishop of Mangalore, issued the circular, thereby aligning the diocese with a nationwide appeal made by Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão.
