In a significant spiritual announcement, Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji of the Avadhoota Datta Peetham has revealed plans for a massive collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation event in Mysuru. The programme is scheduled to take place at the historic Maharaja's College Grounds on February 14 and 15, with the primary objective of fostering universal peace and harmony.

The Swamiji emphasized that this initiative aims to bring together devotees from all corners of Karnataka in a powerful, unified prayer dedicated to Lord Hanuman. He expressed confidence that the event would attract an overwhelming response, drawing inspiration from a similar gathering held earlier in Tenali, which successfully set a world record for mass recitation.
This marks the first large-scale Hanuman Chalisa recitation organized in Mysuru since 2016, making it a particularly notable occasion for the city's spiritual community. A special feature of the programme will be the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa in Sulalitha Kannada, a simplified version of the Kannada language designed to make the sacred verses more accessible to all participants.
