The performance has left a profound impression, prompting numerous prominent voices from the cultural and entertainment world to share their reflections. Here is what they had to say about this groundbreaking show.

Celebrity Reactions to the Spectacle

Suniel Shetty, accompanied by his son Ahan Shetty, expressed immense admiration. "I loved the setting and the sheer scale of Tesseract. The storytelling kept me on the edge of my seat, and the visuals captured the journey of how news has evolved over the years and how, as humans, we perceive it today. Everyone needs to see this show. When something like this comes from a legacy house like The Times of India, it carries a different authenticity. The actors, the squad, and the choreography were outstanding. The reactions from the audience felt so real and powerful. A truly memorable experience!"

Fardeen Khan highlighted the show's depth. "Several moments stood out. In many ways, the choreography felt like a tribute to choreography down the ages. And Shiamak — no one does it like he does. It’s such a complicated subject to direct and communicate, and I’m still absorbing a lot of what I witnessed. It’s fascinating to explore truth and what it means. The show was artistically beautiful."

Poonam Dhillon described it as a thought-provoking treat. "Watching Tesseract was an absolute treat and an unexpectedly thought-provoking experience. The glamour, the costumes, the music, the dance performances, the lights, and the laser effects were all par excellence. But what truly amazed me was the initial journey through the past years of history of TOI."

Hariharan praised the multidimensional experience. "From the very first moment, it is an extraordinary amalgamation of music, art, dance, acting, and technology. It brings together all the elements of the performing arts, creating an experience that almost transports you to another dimension. The script itself feels like a web - intricate, layered, and interconnected. In many ways, it truly reflects the idea of a four-dimensional space."

Siddharth Roy Kapur found it inspiring. "It was a wonderful watch. Anything that Shiamak does is always spectacular. The theme was truly inspiring and it was a visual delight."

Kabir Bedi, with his wife Parveen Dusanj, noted its dual nature. "Tesseract is a spectacular show. It has song and dance, and it also makes you think and question the nature of truth. At one stage, you’re thinking about deeper things, and at another, you are entertained in the most wonderful and imaginative way with tremendous performers. The most touching moment for me was when they performed to the song She’s Always A Woman To Me. It was so human, real, and heartfelt."

Gulshan Grover commended the production quality. "It is truly fantastic! The scale and quality of the production are remarkable. The performances are powerful, music is captivating, and the storytelling is beautifully crafted. What makes it even more special are the dramatic glimpses into the rich history of The Times of India. It is inspiring to see history come alive on stage with such creativity and passion."

Tara Sutaria enjoyed the personal connections. "I really enjoyed it, not only because my sister, Pia, is performing and is wonderful in the show, but also because my uncle Shiamak (Davar) has put together such beautiful dance pieces. The amalgamation of such brilliant music, dance, and great writing is outstanding. Deciphering what truth can mean to all of us is quite exciting, as well."

Aahana Kumra, with Danish Pandor, found it mind-bending. "It is mind bending, visually beautiful, and also gives us a reality check. The show beautifully showcases the intersection of the past, present, and the future. It connects with you deeply. The performances were electric. Shiamak Davar has been my guru and teacher. He is so passionate about everything he does and it reflects in the show."

Ranveer Brar praised the script and team effort. "Tesseract is a beautifully scripted show with dance performances woven seamlessly into the narrative. Language can often be limiting, and writing a script in English makes the task even more challenging, but this one has been put together very well. The team behind the show has done a remarkable job. The performances were truly impressive and it was thoroughly entertaining."

Sudhanshu Pandey called it electrifying. "I would say it is a piece of art of another level. We’ve seen a lot, but this was truly a different experience. It was electrifying!"

Madhur Bhandarkar appreciated the historical depiction. "The whole world is so beautifully created in Tesseract, and the way they showed the inception of The Times of India was so beautiful. The effort in putting together such a grand show is commendable."

JD Majethia labeled it a world-class musical. "Tesseract is a world-class musical, truly entertaining, with a take home message about our lives in the age of AI. This musical talks about the importance of truth and its various dimensions. It was a great experience."

Prachee Shah Paandya summed up the seamless execution. "Tesseract: The Geometry of Truth was a spectacular show and beautifully conceptualised. The way it has been put together is truly phenomenal. From the choreography and the performers to the costumes, props, LED screens, text, and music, everything on stage flows seamlessly from one emotion to another."
