Lamborghini Debuts Exclusive Urus SE Tettonero Capsule at Milano Design Week 2026
Automobili Lamborghini has made a spectacular debut at the 2026 Milano Design Week with the unveiling of the Urus SE "Tettonero" Capsule. This limited-run version of the iconic Super SUV places a strong emphasis on personalization and hybrid performance, targeting discerning customers who seek a truly unique vehicle. With production capped at just 630 units worldwide, the Tettonero Capsule stands as one of the most exclusive iterations ever released in the Urus lineup.
Unprecedented Customization Through Ad Personam Programme
The "Tettonero" Capsule is fundamentally built around Lamborghini's renowned Ad Personam programme, which offers an astonishing array of customization options. Developed through a collaboration between the brand's Centro Stile and the Ad Personam Studio, this model provides over 70 possible combinations of exterior liveries and interior finishes, allowing buyers to create a vehicle that reflects their individual style.
Exterior personalization begins with six primary body colors, including striking new shades such as Giallo Tenerife and Verde Mercurius, alongside established options like Arancio Xanto, Bianco Asopo, Grigio Telesto, and Viola Pasifae. These can be elegantly paired with Nero Shiny accents across the roof, pillars, rear spoiler profile, and exhaust tips. An additional set of six livery colors further expands the visual palette, enabling a virtually limitless range of configurations.
Beyond color choices, the customization extends to:
- Multiple brake caliper color options
- Wheel sizes ranging from 21-inch to 23-inch designs
- The option to feature a distinctive "63" logo on the doors, paying homage to Lamborghini's founding year in 1963
Carbon Fibre Elements and Interior Refinement
The Urus SE "Tettonero" Capsule incorporates premium carbon fibre elements throughout both exterior and interior surfaces. Exterior highlights include sophisticated carbon fibre detailing on the front splitter, mirror caps, and rear diffuser, adding a sporty yet refined aesthetic.
Inside the cabin, the dashboard features a carbon fibre trim with a printed vehicle logo, accompanied by a dedicated commemorative plate marking the tenth anniversary of the Ad Personam Studio. Additional carbon fibre inserts are available for the centre tunnel, instrument cluster, and door panels, creating a cohesive high-tech environment.
The interior primarily utilizes Nero Ade as the base color, which can be complemented by six contrast options including Viola Acutus, Bianco Leda, and Verde Viper. Further personalization is available through multiple upholstery and embroidery combinations, utilizing premium materials such as Dinamica leather and Corsa-Tex microfiber for ultimate comfort and luxury.
Hybrid Performance and Advanced Engineering
Under the hood, the Urus SE "Tettonero" Capsule is powered by a formidable 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor. This hybrid system is supported by a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery strategically positioned beneath the load floor, contributing to optimal weight distribution.
The combined output delivers an impressive 800 horsepower and 950 Newton-meters of torque. According to Lamborghini, this enables breathtaking acceleration with a 0-100km/h time of just 3.4 seconds, 0-200km/h in 11.2 seconds, and a top speed rated at 312km/h.
The hybrid configuration allows the SUV to operate in a fully electric mode, providing a claimed range of over 60 kilometers on electric power alone. The electric motor can function independently or seamlessly assist the combustion engine, while also enabling all-wheel-drive capability even in electric mode.
Sophisticated Drivetrain and Dynamic Handling
The powertrain is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and a centrally mounted electronic torque splitter. This advanced system distributes torque between the front and rear axles through an electro-hydraulically controlled multi-plate clutch, working in conjunction with an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential.
This engineering allows for variable torque distribution and enables dynamic handling characteristics, including controlled oversteer for spirited driving. Lamborghini engineers have designed these systems to adapt to varying driving conditions—from track use to off-road environments—ensuring consistent traction and stability across diverse terrains.
The Urus SE "Tettonero" Capsule comes equipped with Pirelli P Zero tyres across all available wheel sizes. For colder conditions, Scorpion Winter 2 tyres are offered as an option. All tyres feature Pirelli Elect technology, specifically tailored for electrified vehicles to optimize performance and efficiency.
This limited-edition masterpiece represents Lamborghini's commitment to blending Italian design excellence with cutting-edge hybrid technology, offering collectors and enthusiasts an unprecedented level of personalization in the luxury SUV segment.
