The 'detect and deport' policy aims to identify and remove individuals who have entered Assam without proper documentation. The state administration has intensified efforts to tackle illegal immigration, with a focus on coordination between various security agencies.

This move is part of a broader strategy to maintain national security and uphold the rule of law. The Assam government continues to work closely with central agencies to ensure effective implementation of immigration policies.
