Eight individuals have been arrested in connection with an alleged theft of funds collected for the Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Among the accused, two figures—Ramshankar Yadav, known as Tinnu Yadav, and Anukalp Mishra—have drawn particular attention for their roles in the controversy.
Key Arrests in Fund Misappropriation Case
The First Information Report (FIR) names eight people, all of whom have been taken into custody by the police. The case centers on the misappropriation of donations intended for the Ram Temple, a high-profile project in Ayodhya. Authorities have not yet disclosed the exact amount allegedly stolen, but the investigation is ongoing.
According to officials, the arrests were made after a complaint was filed by the temple trust, which oversees the collection and utilization of funds. The trust reported discrepancies in the accounts, prompting a police inquiry.
