Bahraich Tops Ansh Nirdharan with 99.6% Disposal Rate

In the latest report on the Ansh Nirdharan campaign, which ranks districts based on their performance in land-related works and case disposal, Bahraich district has secured the first position with an impressive disposal rate of 99.6%.

District Administration's Proactive Approach

District Magistrate Akshay Tripathi stated that as part of the campaign, the Bahraich district administration accelerated the Ansh Nirdharan process by visiting every village under its jurisdiction. Revenue officers and employees verified disputed land among farmers and landholders and updated records, enabling the resolution of cases that had remained pending for years.

“This achievement was made possible due to regular reviews, fixed accountability, and time-bound target setting. The proactive approach of the administration not only reduced land disputes but will also make the land acquisition process for development projects much smoother,” he said.

Impact on Development Projects

A government spokesperson mentioned that earlier, many projects used to get stalled due to land dispute issues, but the problem appears to be easing now with the government’s focus on swift resolution of disputes. The spokesperson added that Bahraich’s model is being seen as a framework that can be implemented in other districts as well, potentially making land records across the state more transparent and dispute-free.

The success of Bahraich district in the Ansh Nirdharan campaign demonstrates the effectiveness of systematic land management and dispute resolution. By combining village-level verification, record updates, and strict accountability, the district has set a benchmark for others to follow.
