Bengaluru e-Khata Download via Property Tax ID

Bengaluru residents can now download their e-Khata documents using their property tax identification number, streamlining access to crucial land records. The service is available through the official portal, where citizens can log in using their mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Once authenticated, they need to enter the SAS application property tax ID to instantly retrieve and download the e-Khata.

How to Access the Service

The process is designed to be user-friendly and efficient. Citizens are required to visit the official e-Khata portal and select the option to download using property tax ID. After entering their mobile number, an OTP is sent for verification. Upon successful login, the system prompts for the SAS application property tax ID, which is typically found on previous tax receipts or property documents. Entering this ID immediately generates the e-Khata for download in PDF format.

Benefits of the New Feature

This new functionality eliminates the need for multiple visits to government offices and reduces paperwork. It is particularly beneficial for property buyers, sellers, and owners who require up-to-date khata certificates for transactions, loans, or legal purposes. The e-Khata serves as a digital record of property ownership and is recognized by banks and financial institutions.

The initiative is part of the Karnataka government's efforts to digitize land records and improve transparency in property dealings.
