Chikkaballapur district has emerged as a state model for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiative, with officials reporting steady progress in enumeration, data collection, and digitisation activities. Deputy Commissioner G Prabhu provided an update during a review meeting, emphasising that the district's systematic approach has set a benchmark for others to follow.
Progress on Enumeration and Digitisation
According to Deputy Commissioner G Prabhu, the distribution of enumeration forms has been completed as per schedule, and data collection is progressing smoothly. Digitisation of the collected data is also underway, with all activities aligned to the timeline. The official stated that the district's meticulous planning and execution have ensured that no bottlenecks have emerged so far.

The recognition as a state model underscores Chikkaballapur's efficiency in implementing the SIR programme, which aims to update and revise key demographic and socio-economic records.
